Jason was introduced to the N-SSA by his long time, school buddy Chuck. Chuck invited Jason and his wife to visit a National Competition for a weekend get away. Having previously served in the U.S. Army for six years, Jason found the firepower display fascinating. The other team members immediately took to Jason as though they had known him for years.

By the fall of the following year Jason had found his nitch, and announced to the team that he would like to join. By the Spring of 2005 he was participating in the Team Musket competitions, and by the beginning of his second year began competing in the Team Carbine competitions. Jason is anxious to start competing in the individual competitions soon.

Jason works for a Concrete Company as a Diesel Mechanic. His other hobbies include vehicles that go fast, and archery. As a child Jason participated in B-B gun competitions with the 4-H group.

It should be noted that Jason promptly earned his nickname, "Breeze", when it was found out that he would venture to the latrine, armed with cans of FABREEZE air sanitizer. Now, it's not uncommon for the other team members to wait for Jason to be the first to the bathroom in the morning, so that they may also reap the rewards of a decadent smelling lavoratory.
