Mike joined the N-SSA in 1994 with the "Louisiana 4th". In 1996 he took a job in Richmond, VA. Mike was then refered to the McGregors as a team he may want to join since it would be a closer comute for compititions. At the same time Gene McDaniel from the McGregor's was moving to Louisiana, and so the two gentlemen swaped teams with each other.

Mike has been a loyal McGregor since his move from the Louisiana 4th. As well, he has proven to be a valued shooting member of the team.
